More Information:

The Peer Advocate training is a two day training. Both days are mandatory to complete the training. 

Prerequisites: Individuals MUST complete ATAP’s existing online Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health Awareness, prior to attending the Peer Advocate Trainings. The existing education, entitled “Changing the Culture of Construction” can be found and completed at ATAP’s website: https://www.alliedtrades-online.com/training/login

  • Obtain a letter of recommendation from union official (Business Manager)
  • Obtain a letter of support from signatory contractor

Peer Advocate Monthly Meeting:

*** The Peer Advocates meet monthly on the 3rd Thursday of every month from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Finishing Trades Institute, 2190 Hornig Road, Philadelphia, PA 19116 (the Building Trades Support Group meeting will follow 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.).
